We have submitted grant proposals for some of the startup costs. We do need donations from individuals as well to show the IRS that we are publicly supported while waiting for the official 501c3 approval. After receiving donations and grants for $50k the ministry will work in $25,000 incremental planning options.
$50k allows for basic office space lease, hiring a director, hiring the founder in the assistant role as well as performing CEO roles with no salary, implementing homeless supplemental support care, ministry network database launch, and daily operations while we seek more funding.
$75k allows for office space and ministry space lease and possibly a lease-to-own situation, hiring a director, hiring an assistant director or office manager, hiring the CEO with a minimal salary (currently a real estate agent) and full time hours, implementing homeless supplemental support care, ministry network database launch, weekly pastor fellowships and planning meetings, and daily operations while we seek more funding.
$100k allows for possibly purchase of desired ministry office location, hiring director, asst director, and CEO. Implement several outreaches, start database, fellowships, prep for foster support programs and other programs.
$150k allows for property purchase and all above goals.
$165k is the minimum needed to successfully launch Isayah 61 with reasonable expectation that we can within 1 year, establish everything needed to bring all desired mission goals in to existence including raising several million dollars to open the foster and adoption village in its hopeful location. Once some funds are obtained to allow for a reasonable expectation that we could actually purchase the $3M property, we will make contact with the seller's agent to provide a Letter of Intent and see if they will work with us to utilize the property for our charitable and benevolent service to orphans.

Please read below for details and we hope you consider giving any amount especially to the initial $50,000 goal. 1000 people giving $20, 100 people pledging $10 a month, or 50 people pledging $25 a month combined with our grant requests being funded even on partial levels to raise the initial funds will enable movement forward. The IRS publication 4220 authorizes Isayah 61 to operate as a public charity in good faith of our approved status expected before October 2025. We can accept checks, Zelle, and cash. Zelle charges us 1% of the donation but is quite convenient.

Isayah 61 Ministry Needs
We have many current needs. If our vision for the state of Georgia resonates with you and you'd like to be a part of this move, here are some ways you can help:

Pre-Launch needs:

  • Office Space to set up ministries from.
  • Funds to hire staff (I'm very open to finding volunteer partnerships to facilitate opening roles; mostly writing grants apps & organizing plans in to actionable frameworks and timetables etc.)
  • Funds to pay for licenses, services, application fees, monthly expenses
  • Grant writing help
  • Help securing other donation sources
    - Donations of Land, Houses, Buildings, Cars, Boats, Trailers, Box Trucks, and anything of value will be accepted and used to bless someone in need, given to a ministry in need, or sold for fundraising. If you need a tax- write off, we're here to assist!

 Current Estimate of Costs -

  • IRS Tax-Exempt Status 501c3 app fee $600  (Just charged on a credit card 5/1/25)
  • Additional public facing URL since I spelled IsaYah61.org in an unconventional way... $125
  • Grant Writer fees - (I've spoken to a grant writer on Fivrr and her costs are below)
    ----The $1100 package----
    * 10 grant research * 10 grant application * A detailed business Plan * A detailed grant proposal that can be used for multiple grant opportunities ----
    ----The $600 package----
    * 6 grant research * 6 grant application * A detailed grant proposal that can be used for multiple grant opportunities
  • Ministry/Office Space rental $1500-$3000/mo. Or purchase a prospective $418,000 or similar if other location presents. (can be combined down payment, closing costs, and monthly mortgage costs donations/pledges until grants and donations replace donor's needed contributions)
  • Salary for a Ministry Director:   $2800-$3600 per month.
  • Salary for a Ministry Assistant: $2200-$2600 per month.
  • Operating Fund $1500 per month. To cover utilities, insurances, certificates or licenses, monthly expenses
  • Additional pledges for one time purchases to set up the office with legal needs and equipment. Most grant websites and services have fees to join and fees per application. $500-$5000 or by instance. We will source most equipment needs through donations and free items from Marketplace.
  • Ministry Database Network and Fellowship Initiative $1500-$2000 for software, servers, IT assistance, and monthly costs of hosting pastor/minister breakfasts or events.

[ The priority of needs is IRS fee (just charged to my credit card in faith!), then salary for the Director to cover 6 months of salary so that I can in good faith offer a valuable worker some job security while they are tasked with raising more finds. Smaller amounts that come in could be used to pay individual Grant Writer's fees to start applying for grants for us. The Office need would come next where I would need a professional space to meet with and train the Director in this whole scope of ministry while giving them space and resources to carry out the steps to launch the programs. The monthly expenses and then a Ministry Assistant would come shortly after that. I am generally open to all possibilities as any resource is made available. For all I know, a church or business will offer a 1000sq ft un-used building with a mailing address where we could call Headquarters. For all I know, a pastor I contact knows a guy... (or gal) who writes grants for their church who'd love to just help. For all I know, God already has a brand new graduate from business school who truly desired to go into ministry and just moved back in with their parents so they can work for peanuts because they are called to do this and know the salary need will be met as they embark on the journey. For all I know, the owners of that office building I've written about on the blog page are also believers and would gladly give us use of it for a year because of what Isayah 61 will do for the entire community. I do know that where God guides, He provides. So, whether all the above funds come in all at once or in different ways than I imagined; or other needs are met in ways I could not foresee, I'm trusting The Lord for this to unfold and likely rather quickly. ]

Additionally, Isayah 61 needs Angel Investors or Donors for the High Priority programs I hope to launch soon. While grant applications are being submitted, it is an integral part of the plan to acquire a large parcel of land. This is one of the big Rally Points for the Christian community to get involved in. It cares for the most vulnerable, aims to get children placed into forever families, relieves stressed out foster families in the community, disciples youth, young adults, and parents in the process among many other Gospel Centric pursuits. Additionally, local churches can utilize the campground for their youth programs, summer camps, and even a planned Pastors' retreat (couples) cabin area on the quiet side of the lake so that ministry couples on budgets can have a Staycation to recharge and focus on their marriage.

Bethel Village Initiative - $3M land purchase plus fees and expenses to secure.
Bethel Village buildout fund - $2M
Bethel Village operating budget (once program begins to hire social workers, admin staff, and house parents etc) $500k/year in monthly pledges.

Strategic Ministry Retail Outreach venues will cost $400k-$25M per availability of Angel Investor funds and combination of donor sources funds. Per 501c3 rules, we may not be able to use ministry funds for the retail ventures however the retail ventures are easily provable to be ministry arms of Isayah 61 which a CPA would help navigate at that time. Any portion of the facility not dedicated to ministry would not qualify for connecting funds from Isayah 61 to; which is why Angel Investors are needed. Profits all flow back to local Christian charities and the Bethel Village initiatives. The ask is for business partners to help build launch these business ventures which will be staffed with evangelical/ missionary minded believers who use the platform to reach customers and guests with the Gospel.

Other needs are present but can be addressed by the Director's fundraising efforts after we start implementing the work.

Ready to Help? Contact Us here and let us know how you'd like to help. Nothing is too small. There are little items that need to get covered as well as the big costs! If you have another resource like an office space or ministry space where we can operate from which will greatly offset our operating costs, then please don't hesitate to let us know. If you own properties, vehicles, sellable items we could either use for ministry or sell for donation, please let us know.  While I wholeheartedly believe that this whole plan came from The Lord, He did not explain how it would come to pass. Lets go do the work and watch as God makes Himself known in the details!
